ASC Kids' Club Presents Alabama Blues Project

Kids will be introduced to the significance of blues music through a combination of performance, lecture and participation. *Fall Festivals*

I have taught each school a song to perform at an event. I thought a good performance would be at your Fall Festivals. I hope this will boost your attendance for your fund raising events or PTO meetings. Let me know if you are interested by email or respond using the comments link below.

I will also be teaching seasonal music, during the next two lessons, for the students to perform during the fall and Christmas holidays.

"Down by the Bay" lyrics

Down by the bay where the watermelons grow,
back to my home I dare not go.
For if I do, my mother will say,
1. "Have you ever seen a snake baking a cake down by the bay?"
>
2. "Have you ever seen a frog walking his dog down by the bay?"
>
3. "Have you ever seen a mouse painting his house down by the bay?"
>
4. "Have you ever seen a cat wearing a hat down by the bay?"
>
5. "Have you ever seen a pig doing a jig down by the bay?"
>
6. "Have you ever seen a cow going bow-wow down by the bay?"
>
Instructions:
The first 3 lines is the chours. The song has 6 verses. Sing the chorus when you see >

Lyrics to "Johnny Works With One Hammer"
Johnny works with one hammer, one hammer, one hammer.
Johnny works with one hammer, now he works with two.

Johnny works with two hammers, two hammers, two hammers.
Johnny works with two hammers, now he works with three.

Johnny works with three hammers, three hammers, three hammers.
Johnny works with three hammers, now he works with four.

Johnny works with four hammers, four hammers, four hammers.
Johnny works with four hammers, now he works with five.

Johnny works with five hammers, five hammers, five hammers.
Johnny works with five hammers, now he goes to sleep.
